Cosy café, located in the heart of the mainzer old town, with the best breakfast in the city!

We were only 1x in old town cafe. because it is very well visited and we had forgotten to book, we sat outside. There was only one place inside next to the toilet free. the breakfast was okay, not overwhelming. the service was ok, the waiting time was a bit long.

For years we go to the breakfast in the old town café to mainz. the breakfast for 2 is rich and varied, fresh O juice is also included and 2 eggs in glass. the coffee is also always good and tasty cake also. the atmosphere is warm and rustic, in the summer you also sit out super beautiful. when it is full, it may sometimes take a little, but for that everything is made fresh and with love. we try another local to the breakfast from time to time, but come back again and again, as everything fits best.Tip: on Saturday, reserve the table and at the latest around 10.00 be there!Ach and Christmas celebration in the old city cafe is also cult!

We wanted to order and were pointed out that it could take a little longer. Well, after 70 minutes we had our breakfast, was very easy to hold but ok for the price.Ambiente and location are made quite cool. if the load was better occupied by the staff, I would probably have given 4 stars. so there are only 1 stars!

After we got after 45! minutes waiting period fruit vegetables and bread basket with cheese, tomato and salmi, the whole grain bread tasted hard and tough - that was certainly not just yesterday. the müsli tasted oversugar. fruit, cheese and salami but good. the personal was unfriendly and seemed overwhelmed or desintered.
