Staff was very friendly and nice ambience. Food isn 't bad but not great either. I would say average. Sushi rice is extremely sweet to cover the vinegar fragrance. Raw vegetables were mostly fresh and good but some other dishes were pretty much drowning in fat. Also they go heavy on the salt, which might be a problem for people with thyroid deficiency. No service. None. Not sure how the food would have been but after being stared at for several minutes by the people working at the bar I left. Not a busy night either, only around 20 people in the entire place.
Testing various buffet restaurants in the area and this is definitely to all in quality of food. We arrived shortly after 6.30 a.m. and, unlike Google's waiting time consultation, we immediately set ourselves and our drinks orders were processed immediately. We spent about 2 hours here and although the restaurant was almost full, the buffet never looked empty. Only the desserts had less variety. Go back.
We went for dinner on a Friday evening. It was very busy but were seated immediately. Drink service was prompt. Friendly staff. The food choices are phenomenal about every kind of land animal normally eaten, and a large variety of seafood. The lachs sushi was fresh. Salad bar with lots of toppings and dressings, the Mongolian grill section has a huge variety of veggies in addition to all the meats. Really outstanding. The number of flavors of eis (ice cream) were crazy, really good. And bunches of sauces to top the eis. Lots of other good desserts too, including plain fruit. The place was clean and the food very tasty. It's a hidden gem in Mainz. A little strange to discover its location but a great place to go! The decor is very cool, and lots of birthday celebrations took place, as well as photographs while we were there.
Doesnt accept debit cards, from other countries. But the food was amazing, loved every dish.
