We love the chao long here. We always get it with gio chao quay. It's the best combo. When my husband is sick, he gets chicken porridge here too. If you call ahead of time, it will save you sometimes too. View all feedback.
What Kate L doesn't like about Chợ Tam Biên:
This place used to be the place to go to when you want some lòng bò. I knew this peoples when they were selling stuffs from they house and I loved them but now the foods is not good anymore . my last visited was the worst experience ever. The costumer service was non to zero. The young cashiers was rube and very disrespectful, they were speaking to you like you were begging them for the foods. Never coming back there... This place is dirty as hell ...the congee was so watery that I couldn't see any rice in it being cooked . My first time and my last

Haven't tried many of their items but I'm obsessed with their mam Tom. Hopefully I'll get to try some other items soon. Will have to come back
This is a place that I grew up eating with my family and a staple for when I am visiting OC. I'm a big porridge fan so this is very comforting to me especially on days when I'm feeling under the weather or my stomach is not feeling too well. My typical go to order would be #2 chao long which includes intestines and sausages. For the first time, I will be trying it with a side of fried dough or what Chinese people call it 油條)because the kind employee recommended it to me. They also have to go foods that they placed on the side. My family likes to get the papaya with beef. I typically do not dine in at this restaurant, it is more of a fast food place for me as I am not here early in the morning because the commute to here is kinda far). The ambiance is your typical Vietnamese restaurant and every time I'm here I pray that someone speaks English. I am usually not the one who orders haha)
The food is ok here. A lot of selections to pick from. Prices are decent. I would come here mainly for porridge.
