La Petanque - Main Ridge Australia

My husband and I had lunch here last weekend. It was one of my fantastic place! We were very impressed with the food. All dishes were very beautiful as they looked on the pictures and they were also tasted very delicious. Although the price was expensive but I think it was worthy to try something good, delicious and beautiful. The staff were polite and the service was good. Restaurant environment was beautiful. I just Love this place!! I definitely recommend this restaurant for couples who would like to dine out in this area, and recommend to everyone who loves to have lunch somewhere away from the hectic city.

Relaxing Afternoon. We walked up the Garden path and admired the Garden and herbs growing on the property. We had the lunch special and dined on Quail, Blue Swimmer Crab, Calamari, Pork Belly, Lamb Shoulder, Banana Dessert and Red Hill Orchard Dessert. All of the meals were sensational. The view was stunning and service was excellent. We had a brilliant choice of wines, both local and French wines. Foods Incorporate a French style of cooking with local produce and French Fromage to select from. Your choice is from 3 French Goats Cheeses and 3 French Cows Cheeses. The best food we have ever eaten. Thank you for a perfect afternoon La Petanque. 26 Feb, 2014 Delightful Experience. I took my Mum out to La Petanque for lunch last week. The meals were exquisite. It was the first time that Mum and i had ever been fine dining and we enjoyed every minute and every bite, We decided on 3 courses each and had a taste of each others meals. All of the meals were outstanding. Excellent service was provided. We were welcomed at the door upon arrival. We found the staff to be very friendly and very happy. The Roses along the garden path smell delightful as you approach the restaurant. Fantastic view of the vines and the beautiful olive trees. Very much looking forward to be dining with La Petanque again in the near future.

Exceptional food and service. We had a delightful dinner , very well balanced dishes, great presentation, I have been a chef for over 33 years and are not easily impressed but could not fault any of the dishes and truly enjoyed all that was served. Service was attentive, smooth and friendly . Will definitely be back to try the degustation menu. Deserves a good local following.

Exceptional. Visited La Pétanque on 17 October for our anniversary dinner. The food was exquisite (we had the salad, carpaccio, duck, snapper, chocolate fondant and pineapple) and the service was attentive. The wine menu is extensive and has many great choices. We had a fabulous evening. I would highly recommend!!
