I absolutely enjoyed the warm and laid-back service at this restaurant. The food was delightful as well. I ordered the gnocchi, which was cooked to perfection and very tasty. When I finished my meal, they offered a milk-free dessert, though I wasn't sure if it was vegan or egg-free. It would be ideal if they could include a vegan dessert option on their menu as well. we have eaten at a visit to the gold coast, but this time for dinner that the seafood ordered platter, in the yacht club too lunch. most disappointing for the cost of it nothing excellent or even appetit on it. The staff was very friendly and the service was top-notch. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was charming.
The restaurant offers fantastic food in a beautiful setting. The service is also excellent.
I have frequented the yacht club for lunch many times when in the Gold Coast, but this time I decided to try dinner and ordered the seafood platter. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with what I received considering the price. The fish was heavily battered, the calamari was Panko crumbed and tasted mostly of oil. The prawns were decent, but the oysters were only served in their natural state, whereas I was expecting a variety. The presentation was lackluster and did not live up to my expectations. I must say, this was just a generic club meal and I was hoping for more based on my previous experiences at the restaurant. I cannot recommend ordering the seafood platter from here.
The food took a while to arrive and also we were not informed that the kitchen was closing at 8.30 no one could get dessert or even coffee by 9pm. Very unhappy
The food is not consistent. Some dishes quite good and some poor.
