Globe Restaurant Lounge Bar - Mailand

While strolling the streets of Milan hungry I pulled up Yelp and found this place and I'm so happy I did. And come to find open they usually aren't open at the time we arrived (about 4pm) but they had opened for a private event earlier and just choose to stay open and I couldn't have been happier because this place was one of the highlights of my trip! We were greeted and seated promptly by the hostess and our waiter came shortly after. We started with waters and a bottle of wine. After looking over the menu which had so many things that we wanted to try, the server also gave a few suggestions as well. When I said everything that we ordered tasted absolutely amazing and fresh! If I could have eaten here every meal while in Milan I don't think I would have been a bit upset. My oyster and champagne risotto was delicious and the flavors were just great together. I will do though that the Squid ink cappella pasta filled with salt cod, with cherry tomato sauce and king crab meat stole the whole show. We all wanted to stay and order more of that dish alone it was so good. If I'm ever in Milano again I will be back!

Rooftop restaurant and bar. Hidden in a building. Take elevator to 8th floor. Was expecting the food to be better. Seared sesame tuna was ok. Nothing to rave about. Linguini with lobster was better. But just mediocre.
