The four-course Sunday Carvery at the Weald of Kent Golf Club Restaurant is a great deal. The starters had a good variety (I chose the fish cake), the carvery meats were cooked perfectly and very flavorful (with a wide selection of vegetables), and there were plenty of dessert options (I chose the bread and butter pudding). For what was advertised as probably the best carvery in Kent, all four of us were very disappointed and won’t be going back. There was plenty of food but only nut roast offered as the vegetarian alternative. Service was ‘indifferent’ and the discretionary tip added to the bill. For four courses plus coffee and chocolates, it’s definitely not a bad price but the quality was not what was expected, given the claim! View all feedback.
