What hellymcg likes about The Windmill By Richard Phillips:
Visited here on Tuesday for some lunch, booked online but didn’t need to as was empty. I have visited here on many occasions so know the menu and know the food is going to be good which it was. The pub was all christmassy in decorations but... View all feedback. read moreThe Windmill has garnered mixed reviews, reflecting a spectrum of dining experiences. While some patrons rave about the exceptional food quality and attentive service—highlighting standout dishes like lobsters and peanut butter ice cream—others express disappointment over portion sizes and uncomfortable pricing policies, particularly for children and those with dietary restrictions. Complaints about allergen awareness and manager interactions suggest a need for improvement in customer service. Despite these criticisms, the charming ambiance and well-renovated accommodations appeal to many, making The Windmill a notable spot in the local dining scene for both casual meals and special occasions.
Not impressed with the food. Double whammy as it was over priced. Expected better steak for £35 and the £30 halibut was also another dissappointment. Service wa...
