for a spontaneous Tuesday dinner, we planned to have fish and chips, but when we saw the special board, both decided to have snuggles. they were fantastic, huge, fresh with mustard-y sauce and chips. it was very quiet what was fitting us, and we would definitely come back. View all feedback.

Overall, very disappointed with our visit. Fish was not good, certainly not worth £30 for a poorly prepared Turbot dish. Lack of response from management to my messages on OpenTable and email telling. We won't be returning. View all feedback.
Do not make the lunch menu available on the website. when we asked for skate, waitress asked the chef who had two pieces left that were not very encouraging. the chef has spided around the corner, but did not come by to explain why there is no menu set. it was a birthday dinner, and this was not mentioned during the booking. the waitress seemed uninterested during the service, has not checked whether we enjoy or enjoy the food. cold everyone there, in their mouths the heating just sat in before we arrived. twice cooked chips were disappointing pale and lack of luster. two good foods were the sardines and dessert. bad communication skills by not letting us know in advance that there is no set menu, lack of professional service or reviewing our food. hoped for the three more exotic menu on £32.95 as advertised. paid fish and chips at £18.95 with extra payment for sauce and muddy heap not what we hoped. very different from our last visit, which was excellent.
My husband and I went on a Saturday evening to celebrate my birthday, The restaurant was very welcoming and attractively decorated for Christmas. The service was charming and the food as usual excellent. The fish dishes at this restaurant never fail to delight. The chef speaks to all the customers during the evening to discuss the dishes which is lovely and also very informative. If you have never been to the Square Fish Restaurant in Lenham go now you will not be disappointed.
Very good meal all 5 of my guests enjoyed their choices.
Food as ever absolutely delicious. Good choice of fish and afew meat dishes too. Wine list reasonably priced. Great service. Couldn’t ask for more
