The Dried Chicken is to die for, the brownie sundae was delicious, The atmosphere takes you back in time 40 or 50 years, and the service was Stellar. The food reminds me very much of my grandma's from my childhood. Highly recommend this Powhatan local gem to anyone in the area! Husband’s 89th birthday with 7 friends. We were treated so special and had a very wonderful dinner and they made him a chocolate on chocolate birthday cake from scratch. It was delicious and he had plenty to take home to enjoy later. Could not have been any better. Will come again. Vegetarian options: Veggies were delicious and we had 5or 6 choices. Dietary restrictions: We had a diabetic with us and they offered to make a special dessert for her even though she chose to eat the chocolate birthday cake prepared for him. But was nice to know we could get changes if necessary. Parking: Came early and parked close to door with handicapped older people and daughter in a cast. Kid-friendliness: Did not have kids on this visit but at another party we had for him there were kids from age 3 up and they were Welcomed and treated nicely. Wheelchair accessibility: Daughter had just recently broken her ankle and was offered wheelchair and special seating arrangements to accommodate her cast.
