The drinks are reasonably priced, and they have football on TV, a billiard table, arcade machines, and a convenient parking area. The bartenders were friendly, helpful, and engaging in conversation. We ordered the macaroni and cheese as well as the Katsu chicken. My only complaint was that they had run out of the macaroni and cheese. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Pond House:
Decent local pub with value for money food, well priced beer and lots of events going on. However, would be great to zone the pub so sport doesn’t clash with the pub quiz. Quiz master puts a lot of effort in to the quiz nights and big football occasions ruin the experience View all feedback.
Decent pub, nice staff and I recommend the whole day breakfast, compliments to the chef.
From the start staff were friendly and we had the burger which was not only tasty but good value and very filling. The pond is dog friendly and comfortable to sit in.
Last night in the pond house and had a really good evening staff, Paul and Lilly behind the bar made my night! Really easy to speak! Food was very good and very reasonable!!
Lily is an amazing host and always serves with a smile. Nothing is too much trouble and she is happy to answer questions. I love coming here!
I like this place for its simplicity. Bar snacks, full meals and a Sunday Roast. Sports on the multiple TVs around the pub. Separate areas either side and behind the bar. Comfy seating, outside areas and a general friendly atmosphere.
