Contribute FeedbackA simple restaurant set in the middle of rice fields, serving good food a reasonable prices. We found this place when looking for a restaurant near our guest house that serves snakehead fish (a local Siam Buri specialty) The setting is simple but cozy, with many small wooden tables and wooden benches on a little patch of land in the middle of rice fields (bring lot’s of mosquito spray). The menu is extensive and all in Thai, since we can’t read Thai we had to rely on Google Lens to translate for us. The staff was very patient while we tried to figure out what menu item was what kind of food and how to best try snakehead fish. We ended up ordering a soup with the snakehead and a pancake made with Cha Om. The flavour was on the tangy side with lot’s of tamarind, the fish was tasty but still had many little bones in the small pieces. Our second dish was listed as Fried Kale with prawns, it was more like a special salad version of ‘larp mu’ with prawns and roasted coconut, but it tasted absolutely heavenly! We might return again, but this time be better prepared with a written note in Thai about how we would like to have our snakehead fish cooked.
