Filippo's Of Mahomet

Had a group dinner at Filippo’s. Great Italian food….very authentic. Family atmosphere. Friendly wait staff. We dined in. There was great group interaction. A very enjoyable experience.

I’ve been going to Filippos since I was a kid. But this location is something special. Every time my family comes back to visit we have to order. Everything here tastes great. The original crust will always be tried and true, consistently good and the sauce is out of this world. I have no picture to show because every time I ordered it’s eaten so quickly! 10/10

We should have just eaten a frozen pizza in our camper. After waiting an hour, maybe longer with no eye contact or update from our waitress, our pizza finally arrived. The crust was tough and the sauce was bland. We had to put salt on it to make it palatable, which we never do. Instead of fountain drinks with refills, one has to buy RC Cola by the can. Credit cards are not accepted, cash or check only. We must have missed the sign, and thankfully we had enough cash to pay our bill. We were really hungry for a good pizza, especially after reading the good reviews. We have eaten pizza all over the country and this was one of the worst. Very disappointing.

I tried to place a take out order. The call taker sounded upset and advised that it would be 3 hours. This place seems like a joke.

Best Italian food around! Small owned family business. Doesn't get much better unless you go to Italy yourself!
