Harbour Tavern - Magnetawan

Hey , it may not be the fanciest but for a real good local meal and a pint of draft it is perfect ! The staff is friendly and the service is just fine. The meal portions are generous and the wings are better than Wild Wing by a Near North mile. This makes for a real nice couple of hours but make sure you check that they are open before you make a long drive. I think it is Sunday and Monday they are closed but you would be wise to check.

The harbour tavern is a historic must visit if you are in the Magnetawan/Parry Sound area. The food is amazing, probably the best wings in Ontario and the fish & chips are unbelievably good as well. No matter what you choose the portions are huge. The staff are very friendly and service is excellent Starting with Mary the owner/chef. Just be patient on wing nights as the place is very very busy but worth the wait. Great place and a must visit.

We brought our local bicycling group in after an evening ride. We waited for 20 minutes before the miserable server finally came over made some sarcastic comment and left.Maybe they were having a bad night because we have been there before and were treated well. It is one of the local businesses that our group frequents but that will be the last time we go there. We even called ahead and let them know when we would be finished riding and how many people there would be.

Terrible service! The waitress and the owner /cook were having a busy night when we were there but were so rude to many. We were being quite patient and willing to just enjoy a beer and wait for food but after the waitress actually swore at a couple of people, our whole group just left. We won't be going there again for sure! Shocking! We are local and brought some friends of ours from different communities to ride in the area bit after this experience, we will NEVER return to this establishment. ...many much better options in the area

We brought a party of 10 cyclists to this 'Bike Friendly' establishment. Half of our party were refused service and asked to leave because they tried to order within a half an hour of the kitchen closing. I understand that servers can have a bad day, however there is no reason to curse at a paying customer - who in no way instigated a confrontation.I strongly advise considering other options for a nice evening out.
