Five minutes from the highway ocita, after a narrow and winding road immersed in nature, there is this restaurant where you breathe a "good" airThe eyelash of the room is really remarkable, an essential mise en place and in the background three large windows that take away the breath. the dishes are concentrated on the territory, quality raw materials and decisive flavors, without compromise! the cooking of the wood is a conductor wire for second monumental dishes, such as pigeon and guinea guerrilla. wine paper of absolute depth! It is worth stopping, but above all it is worth the trip! Good.
Beautiful elegant location on the sabina. you eat very well: original, quality, all well cooked and presented in an egregia way. I recommend in particular the first dishes (as well as abundant) and on all strozzapreti to porcini mushrooms (optimum) and in the seconds the piglet, but also the pigeon. did not like the truffle pumpkin flower (the last goto.) great cannolo to close with a special dessert. excellent choice of wines (the black Pinot of the Umbrian really pleasant. ) only neo the prices decidedly too high. good level service: Good.
We stayed at this small boutique restaurant/hotel for three nights and ate in the restaurant every night. The food was excellent, but there was no English menu and it needed translation. The staff were excellent and speak some English and were very helpful. To visit this restaurant or stay at the hotel you must have a car, as there are no taxis available.
This restaurant is the best we've visited in the area. The food was great (try the duck) and the wine list is excellent. The terrace is lovely and charming and the waitresses very attentive and knowledgeable. It is a real gem and very good value.
A Sunday afternoon lunch, high in the Sabine Hills, north of Rome, with an amazing view, sounds good yes! Beautifully laid out restaurant, spacious and clean, with huge windows emphasizing the incredible view. Busy, friendly waiters and lots of families enjoying their food. I had a salad of mushrooms, rocket and black truffle light and delicious. My friend had a cestino a cheese pie with flaky pastry that she said was delicious. The other had a gnocchetti small potato balls in a tomato sauce that he said was excellent. For main I had fillets of rabbit, moist, savoury and well seasoned. My friend had the duck in a moscato wine sauce both were very good. Followed up by 2 delicious desserts and all washed down with a local white wine. This is probably a restaurant for locals, but if you are an adventurous traveller seek this place out (Michelin Guide . It's just off the autostrada and 10 minutes up into the hills. The food is excellent, the service very good, the price is very reasonable (E35 each, including wine! , the view is stunning and the surrounding countryside rivals any found in its more famous neighbour, Tuscany. La bella vita!
