I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff at this restaurant. They were very welcoming and upbeat, which made me feel inclined to purchase something. View all feedback.
This café previously traded under the name ‘Jill’s Country Kitchen’. The new décor is less appealing to me, but still interesting. White pressed metal ceiling, light blue walls, a bookcase, old dresser, solid wooden chairs and tables. One wall is covered with old advertisements, magazine covers, and flyers. There are a number of old garments hanging around: I figure I might contribute my whole wardrobe! The café is directly across the road from a parking area, with pedestrian lights to help one cross the road. The café seats about 20 inside. It serves breakfasts and lunches and in betweens – which is, of course what we order. Our lemon drizzle cake is fresh, tasty and home-made, my coffee comes with high froth as requested, and the service is friendly. I think all the cakes are home made, so perhaps this counters the rather small choice. Looking at the menu later, I discover they do serve scones with jam and cream!
I visited Kikki.K today and realized that I had not written a review yet. This stationery store is truly the most exciting one I have ever been to!
Hey, who wants some trendy stationery?!? We all know how important it is to impress the pale guy sitting in the booth next to you.
