This is a buffet restaurant well worth visiting. The buffet is too small for the number of customers, which initially disappointed me as you must wait in line longer. My wife, a former caterer, explained the advantage. Dishes at the buffet are rapidly emptied and promptly refilled. Food at the buffet is fresh and hot. Selection is excellent and everything I tried was good. Ask them for their homemade pickles. Quite a... View all feedback.
What Ann Marie L doesn't like about Berry's Seafood and Catfish House:
Utterly disappointed in service food. Got there an hour and a half before closing to be told they weren't making any more rolls or putting out more food. An hour and a half until closing, mind you!!!! Utterly disappointed for 80 for 2 ppl to eat less than 1 plate together because they had so little that was out or even decent. I only gave this place a three due to price. 4 ppl and that's including a small 6 year old and 3 adults and it ran me $148 dollars. The foods really good just not for that price and not for the amount offered and definitly not considering we eatnormal sized person portions. I feel as if I could have gone to a better restaurant for that price, waitresses don't clear offthe table they have bus boys who come through and do that but it's sparse when they do. The atmosphere is great though just beready to drop some money.
I give it a 2. Best sweet tea I?ve ever had, and two for the wonderful southern service. As far as the food, it was overpriced for undercooked oysters, not many choices on buffet (like it used to be for a Saturday night), and if you want crab it?s $5 acluster and it was overcooked bad. Me and husband with him getting water paid $93, $33 a piece for buffet, $15 for 3 clusters ofovercooked crab, $3 for the tea, not counting tip. I will not be back nor recommend it. I haven?t been in awhile since thepandemic, can?t believe how much the quality of food changed for that price.
I love this place. It is very clean, the food prices are reasonable and good southern down home eating. I ?? the fact that it conveys that Christian atmosphere. I love reading the wording inside and outside on the building; overall it's just a greatrestaurant for families and social gatherings.
WARNING EXPENSIVE $32 Dollars per person for dinner seafood buffet!!! The 10 commandments by the front door should be accompanied with a price list so that God 's word is not used to lure people into a false sense of comfort and good will. Thefood was good but definitely not at that price point!
We spent 60$ for 3 of us and were full. Good was tasty and healthy. Very glad we stopped by right before they opened. Place got full in less than an hour. Very beautiful from inside.
