What Klaus-Dieter Lutz doesn't like about Lago di Garda:
The food is OK, not too Germanised (ie with flavour removed to suit bland German palates) and the prices are reasonable. Also they stay open late (till 11/11.30) which is useful as so many places shut at 8 or 9. But there is a big negative: they have a smoking zone in a sort of plastic transparent tent at the front and the smoke drifts in to the main restaurant. the relationship between food quality, quantity and price is excellent. the attention was beautiful. the cutlery quality was also very good. when they ask for a pfeffer mill and the waiter brings them a peugeot, they know that the attention of the details is about all aspekte des ortes.
