Perfect tapas bar, good food! Good wine and perfect music.. Can't ask for much more. A good place to learn Portuguese as they don't speak English, so be prepared with a dictionary
Great bar with wide range of Portugese wines, a great host José wirh good advise. Delicious food from the terroir. Fado and jazz to complete the great atmosphere. Must do!
Vinho delicioso, música fantástica. Great fado concerts!<br/ When we are in Ericeira, we always come to No Grau. Also the food is very good, we recommend the toast with muxama, delicious!<br/
We happened to come across No Grau Wine Bar by chance because another restaurant we thought we would eat at was full. We are so ecstatic that chance would lead us to No Grau. The owner, although speaking very little English, was welcoming, warm and friendly. His enthusiasm for assisting us was palpable. We were tired and hungry and didn’t know what to order, but this man exceeded expectations by providing us with a three wine tasting food pairing. The value was insurmountable. We paid 60 euros total for three people, each receiving three wines along with three exquisite food pairings. We thought it was going to be a snack, but the fresh and inventive ingredients were satisfying, tantalizing, and more than filling! Beyond the quality of the food and wine pairings, we were overjoyed with the individualized service. The owner made us feel welcome and surprised us with a tasting of his choosing, being sure to ask if we had preferences or had any dietary restrictions. Being a unique space with not only a first level, but also a loft space above with intimate nooks (perfect for a date night) or the open space (perfect for a gathering) the ambiance also exceeds expectation. This was first time in Portugal, and we would come back solely for this experience at No Grau again. Just three Americans, looking forward to our next trip here to wine and dine, satisfied.
