What Robbiecan doesn't like about O Paozinho Das Marias:
I was told that I had to call to Das Marias as they had won the prize of best nata in the recent past and that they served good coffee. We called mid evening and there were 2 other people there having coffee. I ordered 2 coffee's and 4 nata's though most of the nata's on view were badly burned on top. You guessed we got 4 of these. Nata are crispier on top than other bakeries, which makes them tastier. Pastry is super flaky.
Fantastic breakfast with croissants with loads of ham and cheese. The almond croissant the best ever. Huge glasses of orange juice, nice cappucino. Fast, good service. Very good price, quality, quantity. Nice seats. Sure coming back
Institution in town with 2 places, one in the main square and one smaller. This latter is always crowded, don’t forget to get the number. Very good espresso coffee at low price, empty brioches and croissant with chocolate, along with freshly baked bread make this place a must for breakfast but not only.

Been here 3 times and while the coffee is good and the cakes are tasty, the staff are the rudest people I have ever come across in Portugal. Stay away there are plenty of other good cafes in Ericeira with much more welcoming service.
