This was the best meal I have had in an airport. I stopped by on a layover during my flight and had breakfast here. Everything was perfectly prepared and the prices were on par with other eateries in the airport. The food was excellent, the best I've had in any airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pontus In The Air:
Mixed experience. Good variety of food and very tasty. The lounge is clean and of a decent size for the airport. However, service was poor. Most staffmembers were rude and would barely acknowledge us. Hopefully just a bad day. I am surprised because Amex usually put their name on top notch services. It was not the case today. Overall not a terrible experience but the Priority Pass lounges have nothing to envy to Pont... View all feedback.

Pontus in the Air offers excellent service for American Express Platinum and Centurion members. The food is delicious and the staff is fantastic. I am excited to return.
This restaurant is fantastic. It's upscale, has a great menu, delicious food, and a nice selection of wine. The service is top-notch and the interior design is beautiful with cozy lighting. Everything is clean and well-maintained, making me feel safe and well taken care of. I highly recommend this place to anyone.
We decided to go here as we had a long thought and wanted a good meal. we waited a good 4-5 minutes at the reception before my man went and fetched the waitress, the tables in an empty restaurant. To be honest with her, there was obviously a busy service before and she seemed to be on herself. we let them know that we were not in a hurry and had fabulous appetizers, the tacos were the best by far. the main course, dord tempura, is essentially fish and chips (for British people.) the service has never been better sad though it is not busy. we had to remind them to bring water. we asked our phones to be accused and had to remind the waiter to give them back after they had asked. for almost 200 pounds this was a strenuous luxury, but we probably would have spent the money better.
I was looking forward to the AMEX/Pontus Lounge/Restaurant at Arlanda as it’s a relatively small airport without too many options. American Express usually really only puts their name/branding behind quite thoughtful, exclusive experiences (like AMEX Fan Lounges at top sporting events or festivals) so I hoped this would be the same. Unfortunately, I was quite underwhelmed. The “lounge” is open to Platinum and Centurion cardholders both of which come with fees in the hundreds to thousands of dollars range. When you sign up for these types of cards, you expect the benefits and service that you do receive to be top notch. Pontus was just a really strange experience and pales in comparison to any of AMEX’s Flagship Centurion Lounges. The lounge is quite tiny with very limited seating and has incredibly limited gratis food options. Instead, it operates as more of an exclusive brasserie restaurant and while the food was really good quality (probably the best in Arlanda), you’re basically being rewarded for your AMEX status with the ability to sit in a tiny lounge or get a seat at a restaurant and pay (a decently expensive) price for curated meals. Staff were also unfortunately quite curt and dismissive to multiple guests while I was there. Not really how this is advertised online or even when you receive the “menu” at Pontus. I visited the two priority pass lounges and found them much more spacious with much better food options. If you're looking for more space with more typical lounge food options I'd recommend these instead. If you're looking to pay for a solid meal, Pontus would be the best option. Honestly, the best perk/value of the AMEX/Pontus/Arlanda partnership is that is you have a Platinum/Centurion card you’re eligible for fast track security!
