Valdes Resto & Bar - Madryn

For a solo minimum Spanish speaker, this nice center city restaurant met my expectations. The hostess-server was very friendly. She assisted me in every way to be sure I had a pleasant lunch experience. The draft beer and Tomito pita bread sandwich hit the spot.

I had the menu del dia-a simple soup and fish ravioli. My husband had the mussels and lamb. The lamb was delicious presented on a sizzling griddle with some dips.

We stopped in this location while touring Puerto Madryn - good "local" beer (Patagonia) and pizza - hit the spot after walking all over town and the beach area. Very family-friendly with a healthy mix of tourists and locals - so it must be good.
