Tiki Taco Clavel - Madrid

I tried the courgette and cactus tacos at this restaurant, which were advertised as vegan friendly. I paired them with guacamole, nachos, and a refreshing lemon margarita. The food was delicious, especially the margarita. However, I was not a fan of the restaurant's policy. Customers are required to wait in line outside to place an order and pay at the register. Even though my hotel was across the street, there was always a long line stretching out the door from 6pm until closing. While this wasn't a major issue, what bothered me was that if you wanted to order anything else, you had to wait in line all over again. I had wanted another margarita, but I wasn't willing to wait in line again, so I ended up going to a nearby pub instead. (Review updated on 15th March 2024)

The nachos and tacos were delicious, but when dining with my son who eats everything, all of our tacos were served mixed together on a board and were spilling out.

The tacos were very delicious and indulgent, but I could only finish three of them along with the guacamole.

There are two vegan taco options available at this restaurant, priced at only €1 and €1.60 each. They are really delicious! However, the portions are on the small side, so I recommend ordering more than one.

I ordered three vegetarian tacos and enjoyed two of them, but I believe one of them may have had meat in it.
