Teitu in Madrid was a great experience. The service was genuinely friendly and professional, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious from start to finish. A special mention goes to the Russian salad with tuna (ensaladilla rusa con bonito)—simple, but incredibly flavorful and well-prepared. The setting is traditional and comfortable, ideal for enjoying northern Spanish cuisine at an easy pace. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. I have eaten in many restaurants of the oter group and i have to say that Teitu is my favourite one. Very good the wine recommendation, la cabra Rioja. The starters are very good, octopus roasted, croquetas and mejillones. The main plate was jmpressive, high quality products, rape and rodaballo in fishes, lomo and cachopo. The desserts were delicious, chocolate soufle, fried milk and apple cake. Very friendly service

We both could not get our first priority on the menu so we ended up ordering langoustine. In general the waiting time for getting seeted and getting service was far too long (they were not busy) We started by sharing a selection of croquetas, they were served after 30 minutes. After 1h and 15 minutes. The langoustines with White beans arrived, but that was definitely not worth waiting for. If you cannot store fresh langoustines on a restaurant in Madrid then don’t ever consider having it on the menu. It tasted fishy and it was overcooked. Then we both ordered two different desserts from the menu which. We couldn’t get either if them and ended up choosing the thing they had ready in the kitchen some sort of pudding. All in all a very bad experience.
