We had a wonderful experience here. The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming. It was my son’s birthday, and the girl at the bar went above and beyond to make it extra special for him. Thank you for such a memorable experience!
Unfriendly and unprofessional. Most expensive food we had in Madrid. Hamburger was ok, but Ravioli was undercooked and not hot. Served too soon with aperitive. We were finished with our plate while others still needed to be served. Price per person: €20–30 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
Plaza Paja (centre of Ancient Madrid), was rundown but looks as though it is being upgraded. Fairly quiet at lunchtime. The Naia Bistro served very nice salads, simple menu, ate outside on a Monday mid-afternoon, good wine. Our waitress was very friendly but appeared inexperienced, forgot bread basket till we went inside to chase it up and even then didn’t receive until halfway through the main course. Hardly any customers Monday lunchtime, but service on the terrace outside was sparse with the waitress hardly ever appearing. Restaurant inside looked very smart and clean and we would like to come back one evening.
