It was my son’s birthday, and the girl at the bar went above and beyond to make it extra special for him. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

The Naia Bistro served very nice salads,... read more Plaza Paja (centre of Ancient Madrid), was rundown but looks as though it is being upgraded. Fairly quiet at lunchtime. The Naia Bistro served very nice salads, simple menu, ate outside on a Monday mid-afternoon, good wine. Our waitress was very friendly but appeared inexperienced, forgot bread basket till we went inside to chase it up and even then didn’t receive until halfway through the main course. Hardly any customers Monday lunchtime, but service on the terrace outside was sparse with the waitress hardly ever appearing. Restaurant inside looked very smart and clean and we would like to come back one evening.

Service is... read more This is a nice calm and sophisticated place that's a bit off the tourist drag. Food has some familiar elements with an twist and it's all very tasty. Service is good and it feels higher class than the prices suggest. A good choice when you tire of the sangria and tapas crowds.
