We have been eating a group of people from the office in this restaurant that we did not know we loved the cuisine of the meats and fish braseria type to the magnificent service that the very nice waiters offered us, a detail that I love was the fondue of delicious chocolate toblerone and a homemade cake that is called three supreme milks!
We have gone 6 people to celebrate my birthday this week, as I had read very good reviews here and tell them it was a disaster, the overbought meat and we asked very little done, when (after 20 minutes) they brought it back was cold from the fridge and its excuse was that the cook was on vacation. We ordered some drinks and we just had lunch before they arrived. It's true that we were apologised several times, but in the end we left 3 out of 6 without dinner, the only good thing about the burgers. total disappointment. I don't know if it's bad luck, but I wouldn't recommend it at all for a celebration, I noticed the reviews here and ruined my birthday dinner. None of the six have us.
Micota located in the district of the salamanca, is an informal place to try a fantastic grilled kitchen, maybe it could be typified as Galician-Mexican cuisine, the rations are generous and the price very according to their quality price, in our last visit among other dishes we take a perfect octopus to the brasa, which is usual of this dish will know how difficult it is to give that point so that it is no longer dry. the wine they have on table is a vinito that is not bad for the price it has, I can feel that the malolactic explosion maritya with a good meat to the brasa, however if it is true that at least on the date we were, we could say that its speciality is not the wine, in fact I take a little the theme of temperatures and cups of service, in my opinion is not the best place of exhaustion to enjoy the feeling in guante!
Micota is one of my favorite restaurants here in my salamanca, because I find a variety of dishes at good price and a very nice drop, you could say that very made at home, in addition to the atmosphere is very nice, the remodeling they have done feels very well to the site because it feels more spacious, having more view to the outside and to whom you want to smoke a good terrace.
Micota est en la calle castell, n 18, muy cerca de la parada de metro de prncipe de vergara, y también de la de velzquez. it is located in the neighborhood of salamanca, in a good area full of expensive shops and good restaurants, so ste has to be up in an area as. the local is quite large; nothing more you enter has a long hallway with a bar on one side and some tables. before you get to the saln you also have the bass, clean and new. already at the bottom is the table area, which has another salt ms at the bottom. the decoration in white, modern, careful and pleasant tones, all quite cozy. As for the staff, very friendly; one of the waiters asked about the contents of several dishes and explained everything to us in very helpful and sympathetic detail; then the one who looks like the duel came to ask us several times if it was all in our drop. the truth that makes you feel drip, and also serve relatively quick and effectively. going to the most important, which is the food in s, it seems to me that they have almost 10 (because the perf is always difficult) in all the dishes we have tried. between the two times that I have been, we have already tried several things, all based on a type of kitchen that they call of fusin Mexican-gallega, because it is true that in general the restaurant has Mexican type things, but it is not the Mexican tpico and has Galician touches in some things. starting with the incomings, we can find very different dishes: puny chorizo, creams and soups (I think both things slo a medioda), nachos cooked in different forms (in the oven with cheese, with guacamole and pico de gallos salads of various things (csar, with anchovies, of jams and cheese, mediternea dishes based on style Mexican tacos of different contents, pan We've tried the chocolate cake, which disappoints me enough, and the limn sorbet, that was good but I've tried them better. So in desserts I don't think it's especially outstanding, except maybe its toblerone fondue with fruit and cake, which I haven't tried but looks good. as far as price is concerned, it is not cheap, although it is not a carimo restaurant. the incomings roll the 9-10, except for things like tomato bread or chorizo skewers that cost I think about 4-5 . the main ones are a little bit more expensive, I think about 12 the burgers, and about 18 the chicken slick, are the prices I remember because they are the ones that I pass, but more or less the rest oscillated by ah. desserts I think were about 5 each, except the toblerone anchor that costs 11 because it's for two people. They charge you the bread, 0.85 for racin, I think I remember, and the drinks: 3.50 and the coronite and almost 3 for a soda. So in total, if they ask for incomings, drinks, main dish dessert, it doesn't come out to you less than 30 per person, but the truth that you put on your boots and if you eat all that you go out to eat, since the amounts in general are abundant. in short, a different restaurant, with very careful food and non-excessive prices for the quality and quantity of the dishes. a restaurant where I've been twice and surely not to be hurt!
