This traditional place is very good for tapas and cañas (beer). However, if you prefer to sit, the back of the premises houses a pretty restaurant where Spanish food is a must. Although sometimes a bit loud, it is lively and cheerful in the afternoon.
Cocido is a typical crazy dish that is composed by some different cooked vegetables as potatoes, chickpeas, etc. Also with ham, meat, chicken,... If you want to try, it is one of the best places where you can do it. It's in a nice neighborhood... crazy.
I visited this restaurant with some friends as it was near our hotel. We had no reservations, but had no problems as they could accommodate us. The only problem was communication. I speak Spanish, but my two friends didn't. The menu was all in Spanish and they had no English version... It took a while, but we did. The food was delicious. The price was OK. I recommend this place.
I was very pleased with the food, the environment and the service. A great meal with good, traditional dishes. Worth a visit!
