What User doesn't like about Mandarin Oriental Kitchen Casino Gran Madrid Colon:
regular food (small with a certain level) in an environment a little layer (the physical card is a piece of paper) associating the casino tables. service excessively “almost” vietnamite rolls without soul, submissive aceitite. the very good lacquered duck, though incredible that they leave 30% of the duck without serving to put only 8 tortillas. I'm not coming back. View all feedback.
We returned for lunch in February 2019 and were pleased with the experience, particularly the food, since in terms of service it could have been a little more responsive. This time had sour soup, nems, shrimps, aubergines. Cost per pax was 25 euros with the discount from The Fork. Underground parking is free, although you need to validate your ticket with the doorman of the attached casino.
We were so excited to eat here but we're left very underwhelmed. The space is amazing but the food and device not so amazing. We ordered the eel temaki rolls cold eel), spring rolls no taste at all), and the half a duck dry and not warm), fried rice only decent thing we ate). Very over priced for what we thought would be a special memorable meal. Waitstaff not that friendly as well. Probably will not return.
First-time lunch visit and very pleasantly surprised. Overall 4 (above expectations, with a 3 being as expected/satisfactory), for welcome, decor, service, and food taste presentation and quality. Excellent value for money at 22.50 euros per person. Recommend the dim sum and Peking duck.
