If you want the fine Dinning experience then you are coming to the place. More like a local pub that serves a bit of food on the side. Had a few beers and a 2 hour chat with an American in the same position as me. He enjoyed his gin
This is small bar for people who want a real taste of Spain. You won't find the decor in this bar ANYWHERE. The staff are welcoming, the prices are great and its clean but the ambience is fantastic. They also give free spanish omlette with your wine so save some space when you visit
Excellent traditional Tapas bar close to Gran Vía-Plaza de España. My wife and I had the opportunity to dine here over a few occasions whilst in Madrid as we had rented an apartment nearby. It is a family run business with so much local atmosphere, the Tapas are made fresh as you order. Food Drink and staff are excellent so when you come to Madrid you must add this to your list if in need of good food , drink and friendly staff that speak English .
Went late on a Friday night. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful, despite our poor Spanish. Much more authentic, I feel, than the more touristy places on the other side of Gran Via. Highly recommended. Small so try to get there early or late. Couldn’t get a seat at 7:00. Pretty empty at midnight.
