Good garlic shrimp with good food, the service was very good, the calamari sandwich was a but dry, I personally did not like the house wine as it was very sweet

We went here based on their famous garlic shrimp(scampi). The service was slower than other restaurants we were used to but the gambas was very tasty and flavorful but unfortunately they did not do a good job with de shelling the shrimp and some were not deveined properly. Considering this is their selling point ,would have thought the execution could have been better . Little disappointing. Patatas bravas was good

Bocata de calamares con pan negro de 10 Gambas al ajillo muy recomendable, está todo súper súper rico!!!! Bar de toda la vida en el corazón de Madrid

Si quieres escapar del bullicio de la Plaza Mayor (y de sus precios) sin alejarte demasiado, La Casa Del Abuelo es un sitio ideal. A 4 pasos literalmente de uno de los accesos a la Plaza, podrás sentsrte a disfrutar del ambiente. Los camareros súper serviciales. Repetiría seguro.

Pedimos el bocadillo de calamares con pan de pita y muy rico. Los calamares son puntillitas.
