We ate at Ginos as we were in the CC, so very convenient. It was a nice meal, good food options and wine choice and the staff were very friendly thank you to Gregory for his help. The food was well cooked, fresh and tasty. The service was not fast but that was fine as we were not in a hurry, and the food was cooked to order. Nice options of pasta, pizza and other Italian style dishes. Worth going here if you are in the CC and need a pit stop.
Searched for a Restaurant for Lunch in this huge Mall and finally settled at Ginos. First impression very good, choose the Öunch Menue for 11,95€ incl Starter, Main and Dessert. Starter was a Salad, really Standard one including Baby Spinach Leaves and sort of Dressing giving it a 2/5. Main Dish was 3 piexes of small filet of chicken I guess and all of them were raw, the biggest pice (Golfball) was still **** inside.... For Dessert I took Tiramisu and a Espresso. Well, this was the all around impression as the Tiramisu was FAR away of a Tiramisu as well as the cold Espresso was. I really can not recommend this one as they seem to be in a hurry too much and to serve all those people didn't work very well. At least the Pasta and Pizza around me looked pretty decent but I didn't know about the taste or anything. Next Time another place.
The restaurant seems cute and quaint on the outside, therefore stopped by at our visit to the mall. Upon coming in, nobody paid attention to us and when asked to be seated, a waiter begrudgingly acknowledged my existence and seated us. Having spoken to him in English, he gave us Spanish menus and wine menu which I had to decipher since no English menu ever came. The food was edible but we ordered pasta, no spoon as cutlery, no offer of Parmesan. Nothing. When I DARED to asked for Parmesan, I got the stink eye. I also wanted pepper for my food, but I guess these waiters were above English speaking guests. As soon as we finshed our meal, the bill was shoved in our faces (there was a line outside you see, but there was a closed off dinner section and 3 4 uncleared tables . Overall, a decent meal was dampened by truly remarkably INCOMPETENT SERVICE. If I were the manager I’d be worried.
Before flying out from Barajas was looking for a good place to have business lunch. eatery at Plenilunio shopping centre offers many alternative, was looking for a quiet corner. Ginos offered air conditioned indoor places, so me and my bud went over there. set menus as well as a la carte, with appealing dishes. We selected set menus per piecere What a surprise when they were served. My bud chose Cesar salad, came lettuce and croutons, no any sign of chicken. More appropriately that dish is lettuce with crotons. not Cesar salad I took involtini melanzane. Eggplant (aubergine) looked like almost raw... anyone with experience of italian way of cooking knows that eggplant should not be crunchy, but soft. we both chose Tagliatelle integrali pesto e pomodorini. again anyone with a fair knowledge of Italian cuisine knows that pesto is made with fresh basil, olive oil, pine nuts. and is green! not grey sauce with 3 up to 4 cherry tomatoes. Finishing with dessert. My bud took profiteroles. He said were decent. I was served melon in a bowl, cut. In Italy you don 't get served melon in a bowl, you get the full slice, sometimes with peel or without it. disappointing experience overall, and by far not resembling any real Italian cuisine.
Went for dinner with my wife and daugther. Ordered a fettuccine and two chiken caprice. My pasta came cold, stale, and looking like a leftover. My wife and daugther's plates were not much different. Changed my order with no avail. The waitress was unfriendly and disengaged. Terrible experience. Worst food.
