The restaurant is located on the 33rd floor of Torre Espacio, located... read more Late May 2018 I visited Restaurante Espacio 33 for a business dinner with four colleagues. The restaurant is located on the 33rd floor of Torre Espacio, located in the cuatro torres business area in the northern part of Madrid. The restaurant is a roughly ten minute walk away from Chamartin railway station. Note that the security measures for entering the building are quite strict, as the building houses several embassies (Australia, Canada, Netherlands and UK). A passport/ ID-card is necessary to enter. After clearing security around 21:30 we were greeted by a friendly hostess who checked our reservation and took us up to the 33rd floor and showed us our table. The view towards the mountains on the north-western side of Madrid was just fantastic. As some of the participants of our dinner just arrived in Madrid after a long haul flight from Japan, they were quite tired and wanted to eat something quickly before catching some sleep. We ordered a main course only. Despite the fact that less than half of the tables in the restaurant were occupied, service was rather slow. We had to call a waiter to our table once our glasses were already empty for a while to ask for more wine and water. The food itself was delicious (I took the Tataki de Atún Rojo, which was mouthwatering). We finished our main course around 23:30 and felt it was too late to eat a desert. To sum up: the view from the restaurant was definitely amazing; the food delicious but on service there is room for improvement.
