We ate and drank here on a Sunday afternoon between museum visits. They have a good selection of bottled and draft beers, and were good at giving recommendations about what you may like. We had some plates of meat and cheese and enjoyed whiling away...some time here. Worth seeking out if you are in the area. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about El Pedal:
this bar has a beautiful selection of craftsman beer, local and not so local. it was probably one of the first bars to have a wide offer and eating is also good. the service is not so hot and the prices are not competitive with. the now abundant number of bars to drink local craft beer. try it, but don't let it be their only experience in madrid. other places have better prices, energy, food and beer. El pedal was an absolutely fantastic craft beer bar that we had read in our hometown liverpool before the beginning of an eight-day holiday to madrid and we were excited to visit here and on our visit we were not disappointed....Willing in and I knew that I would be happy here to serve great decoration and decor including a cool looking, there are many sitting possibilities in this craft beer bar. this bar offers a large selection of beers both at the intake and in bottles served by staff who know very much about their beer and how to serve a good beer. we were here on a Friday night and after a quick study of the beer on offer my twin brother and I decided to try an ipa, these were poured and served in excellent condition, we just stepped back and chilled out and took the big beakable in which we were. as much as I enjoy the local brews like mahou beer and san miguel beer, it is just as good rehearsal a well-made beer and these beer served here are quality. my ipa was excellent, hoppy, with taste and very easy to drink. we really enjoyed our beers here, and although we stayed only for that a beer before we first visited each other, we were very impressed by this great beable. el pedal is really easy to find on calle argumosa, we jumped the subway down to stop lavapies we were easily found this bar. a great bar and worth a visit.
They enjoy the great selection of beer, including some interesting cooperations. toasties were also good.
El pedal is the type of bar that makes travel for craftsmanship bier lovers in almost any city in Europe. they have a fine selection of rotating beer and a well selected refrigerator with bottle. the people are wonderfully friendly. it is small, hot in summer, and a little funky, but it works together for an evening of the bier talk and really good beer. the styles produced by the new wave of the Spanish breweries perform the entire spectrum of the international brewing scene. the ipa are as good as most of those brewed in America. sour are always and adventurous; if they want something predictable, cantillon and stone have place among the bottles. the location is ideally a short walk away from the museum part, so they use the late opening times of the muses here and reward their good taste with much good tasting beer. bob ellie tupper, autoren, “Drinking in the culture, Tuppers’ guide to exploring great beers in Europe”.
