What Anonym dislikes about El Gallocanta Taberna:
We had been a while ago and this last time we were disappointed. We asked for a cachopo (understanding that, as indicated in his letter, it was for a person) and they pulled us out and charged a double ration (just to ask expressly when it was time to serve us and tell us it was alone,) so beware because it is not well indicated. This kind of thing makes us not back anymore. View all feedback.

I was very pleasantely surprised by the delicious Spanish food on offer at this small restaurant in a very popular street at the back of the Westing Palace Hotel- I find the other places a bit on the expensive side, so I gave this one a try as they have a 3-course menu del dia for 12 euros: it was fantastic! generous portions, yummy bread, a drink and a homemade dessert, with warm and friendly service. I will definitely return and recommend!

Came for my birthday, booked in tripadvisor and i got 50%off on food, was a tuesday night. we dinner 6 of us, wine and shared tapas, 100€.

We found this place by chance because it was near our hotel; it looked more inviting than some other restaurants on the same street. We were greeted warmly and given a table, which was not always the case in some other places. We found the menu to be authentic, but different than most other places we ate in town, which was kind of fun. We actually ended up eating here twice because the first experience was so positive. They were accommodating, and even with our limited Spanish we did just fine! My favorite was a thin fried chicken cutlet with pimiento cheese so delicious!
