The food is pretty good, but the service on the terrace on a Sunday leaves a lot to be desired. Price per person: €10–20 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Tequeños
Best Sangria and friendliest staff, we lucked on Delic just after we arrived in Madrid and after a packed week it was still our favourite and we chose it as the best of the week for our last meal. Sangria was more than super tasty, so beautifully presented. Tasty tapas selection and some fantastic cakes, limited gluten free options but the staff were so friendly, helpful and chatty, we loved it .
Nice place and reasonable prices, good service! Price per person: €1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We really enjoyed our lunch at Delic. It is often difficult for my vegetarian husband to get a good meal in Spain, but not here. In fact I ordered vegetarian dishes too because they were so tasty. We had the good value menu del dia at €12.50 for 3 courses (plus a 10% service charge for eating on the terrace in the pretty square). I started with gazpacho and my husband had hummus with crudités. Our main course was baby new potatoes cooked au gratin with parmesan cheese sauce, which was absolutely delicious. For dessert I had chocolate cake with hazelnut cream, and my husband chose banana and caramel cake, both were lovely. A glass of decent wine was included in the price. The desserts on display inside looked spectacular, especially the fresh fruit tarts I will defintely return on a future visit to Madrid to try one! The waiter was charming too. I would not come here if I was in a hurry as our lunch took about two hours from arrival to paying the bill, but we were not in a rush and enjoyed the leisurely pace. Highly recommended.
