That's what we asked when we were there and went, far away, the best ramen I've ever tried in Madrid (which, we're going to be jotos, it's not hard to get! . the stock was very tasty, the noodles were perfectly tender and the panceta melted in the mouth. while we order the bao full of pork and hoisin sauce. It was a wonder, but the best part was the texture of the bread, not too sticky and not too abundant as it often happens in many restaurants in Madrid with the desire to rise to the bao fashion without having worked all the textures first. Finally, make sure you book before you leave. the restaurant is quite small and very popular, so if you want to get a table on a weekend night, you have to go or very early or book with a day or two in advance. Even if you're not hungry, I suggest you go for a drink. They have a very creative menu of cocktails that seems very interesting like for example a sochu agrio made with Japanese rice liqueur and yuzu and mujitos with perilla leaves, to name some.
Although in asia the ramen, the classic soup filled with noodles, eggs, algae and miso can be found in many corners and it doesn't turn out to be a cheap and street alternative, in madrid it has become a very trend of fashion and in which we sometimes forget that in the background there is hot water. ramen prices here are not for other reasons, but let's say it was a place worth going back together. The best curious is not the ramen, in my opinion, but the wonders they offer as another trend: the bun or the swollen breads that in this case manage to make them quite similar to their archaephamosa version of the American chef mummoku. very well achieved, it is small but worth every bite. I sat at the bar and asked for a few and turned out to be a splendid meal. the atmosphere also takes many lauros because they have had the fortune to retake the premises of the other aki and those who did not make many modifications. very cinematographic food, very rich and I want you to laugh in fashion and stay always in the offer of madrid.
Chuka is one of the best places in Madrid to take bao and ramen bowls, among many other things. very good also dumplings, cow and kimchi. also recommended seasonal dishes. tonkatsu secret or false nigiri of cow. expects to pass around 25/30€ per person
