Was BiancaC at Canela Cerveceria a mag?
You will only probably venture here in the night if you have a hotel nearby or you are a local. The pavement awning did not cut out the sound of the heavy night traffic but the atmosphere was local and unpretentious. Ordered two beers at 10pm and something to eat. We were pleasantly surprised by the most delicious lamb chops. Like this authentic local restaurant. View all feedback.
What Izan Reynoso dislikes about Canela Cerveceria:
Extremely horrible place to eat. I ordered grilled vegetables and it was cold, when I complained they just microwaved it, yet again it was cold. The dish was burnt, all the vegetables were soggy and horrible to eat. Please don't visit this place ever. Worthless .walk a little ahead and there are plenty bars which are better View all feedback.

CANELA is one of the many restaurants on the same street as the Celuisma Florida Norte hotel, on Paseo de la Florida, all of which offer a set menu for lunch ranging from 11 € to 30 € during weekdays, except on holidays. I had lunch there two days in a row, on Saturday May 11 and Sunday May 12, 2013, for only 11 € including drinks. The first day, I had an excellent lasagna covered with sauce béchamel , followed by a solomillo de ternera (supposedly the most tender part of the veal, but mine was a sportive one... and I finished with a good, small, homemade custard. Drinks are included in the price, so I chose a red wine. The waiter soon brought a whole bottle of bad wine that he opened saying that I could drink it all, but I could only drain less than half of it. However, I didn 't get any discount for the unused part... The next day, I had a very good rusa con atún (mixed vegetables with tuna and mayo followed by a so-so suprema de pollo . I chose it because in France this expression designates a chicken steak cooked with cream, which is the specialty in French Normandy. Unfortunately, in Spain this designates small pieces of chopped meat, in form of breaded patties KFC style that I didn 't appreciate. The French fries were good, though. Since I complained about the mediocrity of the red wine I had the day before, the waiter proposed to give me one cup (only one! of Rioja wine instead of a full bottle of bad wine. I accepted, thinking that it would be as good as the Rioja Marqués de Riscal that I drink back home in Miami Beach all year round, but I was also disappointed. Maybe I should have taken a bottle of rosé or white wine to try them? I had a flan de queso to finish and it was delicious. The weak links in this restaurant seem to be the second course and the wine. Since I had the dessert (you have the choice between either dessert or coffee I had a very good espresso for an additional 1.40 €, which is the lowest price I 've ever seen in a restaurant! Both days I had lunch on a nice covered terrace on the large Paseo de la Florida sidewalk, without insects flying around, and I could smoke part of my Cuban cigar on it that Sunday, before digesting my lunch in the Jardines del Campo del Moro a couple of blocks away, on a wonderful afternoon without a single cloud. But that 's another story.
Have tables both inside and outside and are protected and with heating stoves. the service is fast and quite attentive, as we wanted to have a sweet next to the tea and we received a very good suggestion. Coffee's fine too.
