After coming a few days before, and seeing the collection of taps and old sopletes, I realize the name of the wineries in barcelona, street providence, I often go to the houses of wineries. Ha, ha, ha, smaller but worth spending there.
Neighborhood bar for many years. good vermouth and beer with a very spicy touch. also has a variety of wines and snacks to bite. There are hours that are with too many people and impossible to approach the bar. has a small terrace on a pedestrian sidewalk.
Ti went there following a recommendation that i got from a local friend. the people are super friendly and the food was great. perfect for small dinner or in between meals. the variety of drinks is almost infinite
Soooooooo crowded we did what we wouldn’t normally do when we are traveling and sat outside. You miss all the chatter and gossip sitting on the terrace. We had planned on a late lunch as you do in Spain but only stayed for a couple of cañas and wonderful sardines. This is why I only “scored” a 4. By the looks of the locals smiles and animated conversation this was a place we should have been at an hour earlier and stayed until closing. BTW, and I hesitate to say because it could encourage non Spanish speaking tourists but the waitress speaks English well enough to understand you.
