I tried meals I hadn't tried before and it was good and tasty. We didn't wait for a table and the service was excellent. The only thing I wish it will be improved is the waiters to set the tables for the next customers in a less noisy manner it seemed like plates, forks and spoons were thrown into the table. I agree it's faster that way, but I found it annoying. Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Another great visit ! This hidden, well-priced gem is reliably good. I visited for the 7th time in July 2025. 10 min wait for a table (walk-in) around 9pm. The garlic shrimp were fresh, hot and well-seasoned. The steak main was juicy and perfectly cooked to my request. A glass of wine here can be less than 4 euros. Very good value overall. Service is nothing outstanding but they will take your order promptly and ensure you get what you desire. I will return! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €40–50 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
My wife and I ate here in October 23rd and it was really very good indeed. So as I was revisiting the amazing Madrid on business at the beginning or Feb, hosting 575 American delegates for a conference over 7 days, staying at the Melia Castilla. I told my colleagues that I would book a fantastic restaurant for a sample to evaluate if my opinion was good and also to celebrate one of production team’s birthday. As a group we have very mixed dietary requirement, which are of the up most importance as a company to manage, I was especially careful to choose a restaurant which caters to vegetarian, vegan and also the carnivorous requirements of our party. Looked online to double check I had made sure everyone was looked after and was happy with the menus Baazar had published. Sadly, on arrival, we were offered an extremely restricted menu, with only a single vegan option and just four vegetarian options, which were half starters and half main courses. When I questioned the member of staff on the night, I was greeted with a shrug of the shoulders from the staff member in question and told “that’s what we have”. The service was poor, as we waited ages to be acknowledged, and when finally, we were asked for our orders the food arrived relatively swiftly, but honestly was poor at best. The aubergine was thick barely cooked wedges with no imagination, the pasta was stone cold and the oxtail ravioli my dish which as I was entertaining, I dare not complain given the many other issues) was almost inedible. Given the issues, a creative host as we had, managed the situation well, by applying more wine to assist out guests to forget the poor service and really very poor food. So we spent much more than we needed to cover your poor food and service, end result 2 out of 10. The whole congress is back later this year and as the person responsible for entertaining, I would value your response and perhaps as the client Qpromotions) paid the bill an offer for them.
The waiters, the food and the drinks is a must in Madrid. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
