There are several game machines scattered around the restaurant, so if you have kids who enjoy them, it's a good idea to bring a few dollars! The duck machine was particularly generous, giving us two ducks each time. The staff was friendly, and we didn't have to wait long for our food, which is always a plus. As for kid-friendliness, the games definitely kept my children entertained. The staff remained patient and un... View all feedback.
What Naja Cooke-Douglas doesn't like about Wings Etc.:
I waited quite a while for someone to take my order. Eventually, I stopped a staff member and asked for assistance, but she told me I had to wait for the bartender. She never followed up or checked in with me. Finally, another girl came to help me. View all feedback.
As a family of five, we intentionally choose eateries with quick service and a calm atmosphere to accommodate our small children. To our surprise, despite the restaurant being relatively empty, we endured a lengthy wait of over an hour for our food. Observing others who were seated after us receive their meals before us only added to our frustration. Upon flagging down our server for drink refills, he mentioned that some of our order was ready but not all. When our food finally arrived, the boneless wings I ordered were overly tough and resembled offcuts rather than proper wings. Additionally, the applesauce my son requested turned out to be cinnamon-flavored, which posed a serious risk due to his allergy. Consequently, my husband had to administer his epi-pen outside as we were still waiting for the bill and drink refills, which were nowhere in sight. Seeking a resolution, I requested to speak with a manager, only to be informed that she was occupied with an interview and promptly handed my check totaling $101. Upon sharing our numerous grievances with the manager, she defensively responded that they can only serve what they are given, referencing the poor quality of the wings. Despite my efforts to illustrate the issues we faced, including cold food and the emergency with my son's allergy, the manager begrudgingly offered a mere $18 deduction. Expressing my confusion over being charged for an extra drink and the manager's denial of our kids' meals, I was met with accusations of dishonesty. The disbelief and disrespect shown by the manager left me feeling upset and disrespected. As I settled the bill, I requested contact information for the restaurant, only to be curtly informed to search for it online. Regrettably, this experience has left a lasting impression, and we have decided never to return to this establishment. Despite spending $81, we were left dissatisfied and still needing to find a suitable place to feed our children.
We were there approximately one hour and 20 minutes and one hour of that was waiting first we waited five or six minutes in the front which doesn’t seem that long, but it’s long if you’re standing at the door doing nothing waiting for anyone. We sat at the table for 10 minutes and waited for someone to come talk to us. Eventually the hostess came back and asked us if we would like anything to drink. Then we waited 10 minutes for those drinks with our server eventually brought us what we would like to eat, the food was overdone And had set for a while. We noticed that the sauce had already soaked into the bread of the chicken and the cheese dip we got had already developed a skin on top of it. It would seem as though a lot of the staff was disinterested in working and many of them could be heard, cursing amongst themselves and joking with one another. One thing we will say, though is that the traditional wings with the Caribbean jerk dry rub was exceptionally good.
I ate their Tuesday,May 28th 2024 and man let me tell you, I eat at Wings Etc sometimes when I want wings but I find theirs to just be decent... On this day they were top notch. Whoever cooked them, cooked them to perfection. A little crispy on the outside and really juicy on the inside. Sauced well too. I had The Wall and found a new favorite in the Hot Honey Garlic.Oh, on Tuesdays they also have $5 cheeseburger and fries. Can add 3 wings to it for $3 so pretty good deal too.
Allison was so great. Perfect service. Hope to have her every time we come to eat!! Thanks
