What Tamara Bradley doesn't like about The Wisco:
I had a good time overall, but there were just too many people, not enough bartenders, and it was quite dark. I was invited to The Wisco a couple of weeks ago for a friend's birthday party. There was a line to get in, and the atmosphere was a bit rowdy. I ended up waiting outside for about 20 or 30 minutes before I was allowed in because they were at capacity. This charming local spot welcomed us thirsty travelers with warmth and hospitality. They even invited us to join in a game of Final Jeopardy for a chance to win a free drink! The locals here are young and intelligent. They offer a full bar with an excellent selection of draft, craft, and bottled beers. There's also outdoor seating available. Convenient street parking can be found both on the main street and along the side.
I saw Freebasing Rebecca and numerous other live acts there—it's truly a fantastic place to dance. I even performed once as the opening act for Mike Whayland, and it was a great experience.
Excellent vibes. Perfect place to relax and have a hamms
As some people left to go to another local bar due to the crowd, a young lady managed the door, letting in one person at a time. Once inside, it was packed, almost like being in a basement bar, and it was quite dark and bustling with people. There was a smoking deck, and the DJ was pretty good. I didn't try any of the food.
Karaoke Wednesdays are fantastic! It's the perfect spot for indie rock enthusiasts like myself. I give it a solid 5 out of 5!
