We found this nice coffee shop while we were in town for NASCAR at Martinsville. I got the pumpkin pie latte and my GF got the white chocolate mocha. We both enjoyed our coffees and the price was also very reasonable. Would recommend Mad Bean to anyonewho is in the area.
Love their lattes and frappes!!!! They have awesome bagels and avacado toast.
Visit today and ordered the chef salad. I only received lettuce, tomato, turkey and cucumbers. I ordered additional dressing and had to remind the staff I needed it. The menu stated the chef salad also included onions, cheese and ham. In addition to this Ihad to wait an additional 30 minutes for an iced coffee. Still didn?t get my extra dressing but after waiting 30 minutes for mycoffee I just wanted to get out. The waitress took every single persons order (11 people) who came in after me BEFORE getting mycoffee. My salad alone was $10 and it didn?t even include all the items stated on the menu. Im not sure that I will return afterthis visit.
I have had both the iced mocha here and the white chocolate. The white chocolate was amazing. Better than the mocha. Nice vibe, decor.
I'm excited to have such a laid-back coffeehouse in our small town, offering great coffee, a relaxed atmosphere, and attentive staff! While they've updated the design and layout, I'm disappointed that they've removed hot food items, sandwiches, and wraps from the menu. The new decor is charming, but I really miss their tasty pastries and baked goods!
