This place is a hidden gem. The chicken schnitzel is AMAZING! The Kalbasa and Kale salad for an appetizer is really good-we get this everytime!Personally, the French onion soup was not my favorite. Probably a texture thing. I like a hearty French onion soup with the onions in the broth, croutons and melted cheese on top.The atmosphere is very classy. The service is on point every time, the servers are very knowledgea... View all feedback.
What Dennis Burke doesn't like about The Harvey House:
What's happened to the fish sandwich? Had it four months ago and it was a light, flaky piece of walleye. Last night, I, and my three companions ordered it again, and it is now a inch and a half thick brick of compressed fish. Why the change? View all feedback.
I'm the type of person that when I go out for a nice meal- I don't want to eat something I could cook at the same level that I would at home. Harvey House's food and drinks are perfect for a dinner worth remembering. The staff were the perfect amount ofattentive and very friendly. We had a wonderful time. Harvey House is such a great addition to the Madison restaurant scene. The service is unparalleled. I've never had better service anywhere. The servers were so attentive my water never even got close to being empty. The food was brought out soquickly and it was phenomenal! The English Pea Soup was to die for and the Cannelloni was unbelievable. Complex flavors andperfect preparation. My partner got the steak and was so happy with it. Harvey House is definitely our new go to spot forcelebrations and fancy dinners. We can't wait to go back!
It was absolutely delicious and everything was well thought out and perfectly cooked/crafted. The staff was friendly, thoughtful, and made our anniversary even more special. A big thanks to Aaron (sorry if I spelled your name wrong, there are somany different ways to spell Aaron)! The pavlova was a great surprise and perfect way to end the meal.
What a special place. Gorgeous restaurant, impeccably designed and meticulously clean. The service is attentive and everyone knows the menu well. The walleye dinner is the star of the menu but really everything we had was impressive. Higher price pointbut worth the splurge.
Very elegant yet casual dining. Staff is very friendly and well trained. The staff was definitely enjoying their jobs which shows this must be a well managed restaurant. Joy is contagious!! Definitely top notch chefs pairing of the flavors were superb! We will definitely be back to try other dishes ??
