I never write reviews, but I had to for Sencha. I came in for the first time the other day, I got a milk tea and bought two packets of loose leaf tea for later. When I say that this is the best tea I have ever had, it is no exaggeration. The bags even come with instructions so that you know how to steep that tea the best. I will absolutely be returning to buy more, and I cannot suggest this place enough View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sencha Tea:
Boba balls were hard. Not soft like other places. The flavor in our shakes too left something to imagination. I would give them another try when in town. Maybe it was a one off. View all feedback.
I LOVE the staff there!! Their so nice and welcoming!!! My favorite drink to get is the Thai tea with the pearls in it!!!Kid-friendliness: The place inside is so colorful and pretty definitely would be a fun cute little outingParking: Typical parking lot for the place makes perfect sense since it’s a small shopWheelchair accessibility: It’s ground level so there shouldn’t be any issues getting in I don’t think they have a button to open the door tho unfortunately
Mellow little place with some great drinks. The cantaloupe iced green tea is great!Highly recommend for a quick pick me up or to grab a seat and chill if it's not too busy.
Yummy little bubble tea shop. I had a coffee one and it was great. The rest of the family were happy with their bubble teas, too.Food: 5/5
Beautiful Capital views, delicious teas, and friendly, helpful service! All that in a lovely, small business, in the heart of Madison! What else do you need to know?
Sencha is absolutely one of my favorite places to go. My partner, our friend, and I have made it a “thing” where we travel out to Sencha just for the tea. The baristas there are always kind and an absolute joy to be around. They are always positive and very skilled at their work. I can only hope that the company is treating them very well because they all deserve it! My favorite part is how they are allowed to be themselves; as someone from the lgbtqia community, I can’t say enough how safe that space feels seeing others in the community and seeing the support for the community as a whole. I’m also an illustrator, so Sencha supporting local artists by letting them showcase their work is super awesome. They go above and beyond to ensure that the space is safe and cozy, going so far as to put on movies and hosting coloring competitions. The bubble tea there is always amazing, too. I have never had a bad experience at Sencha and would hands-down recommend them to anyone in an instant!Kid-friendliness: They host coloring competitions and put on movie nights. They also sell lots of cute little toys and plushed animals.Parking: Plenty of parking available!Wheelchair accessibility: I don’t use a wheelchair, but the sidewalk leading to the door has a small ramp. The inside of the store has an open layout and the tables and chairs are easy to move around to accommodate for wheelchairs.Dietary restrictions: I have a milk allergy and they are happy to answer any questions or make any adjustments to accommodate for it.
