Feedback
This restaurant is definitely worth a visit! I absolutely adore this place. They offer exceptional food with a wide variety that I haven't found in any other restaurants in Madison. They also have a fantastic selection of games, and the owner and staff are friendly and readily available to assist with any questions during gameplay. The environment is clean, welcoming, and overall very friendly. My overall experience was excellent.
This is the first Google review I've ever posted, so I pretty much never feel the need to say something. I'm also not a picky eater.Went to Roll Play sometime in late summer and for lack of better words, it really sucked. I truly don't understand the reviews of this place. Ordered the kimbap and the Singaporean chicken rice maybe it was just a bad day for you guys, but the Singaporean chicken rice was dry and not very flavorful. Almost felt like it came out of an expired dollar store package. The second dish was pretty much inedible the kimbap was also very obviously packaged beforehand and honestly, i don't think I would mind that because this place is just a cafe, but Jesus, it was pretty gross. The contents of the kimbap were slimy and the rice was hard. Won't be coming back again, which is a bummer because I thought the atmosphere with all the games was awesome.Boyfriend and I were both in a bad mood when we left Roll Play which has never happened in my 21 years of eating wherever. For reference, I've tried the filet-o-fish from McDonalds.
