The MOST delicious breakfast, bakery, and diner in Madison!!! Everything as ordered was gourmet; we want to try everything on the menu. Not to mention a small business owned by a small family with friendly and warm, welcoming service!! What D doesn't like about Monona Bakery And Eatery:
??? I can't comment on the food, I'd like too. The organizational structure sucks. My group of four wanted to dine in. We were told to take a menu, have a seat, and then step back up to the counter to order. Once we'd decided what we wanted, we had to get in a line that had just formed (ten people deep). This in not the way to serve dine-in clients. Prices on real menu DIDN'T match the posted menu. View all feedback.
The sweet staff at Monona Bakery and Eatery came through last minute with a smash cake for our daughter’s first birthday. We planned poorly...so not only was it done within an hour of us calling to inquire but it was decorated exactly to match the theme I described and super tasty. Cannot recommend or thank them enough!!!
I love this place. The staff are always super friendly and the food is great. I love their platos tipicos for dinner. I’m always looking for their Honduran and Latin American dishes, those are the gems. Tasty cakes and pastries too.
Yesterday we had the most excellent meal! I invite anyone in this comunity to stop by and enjoy such a delicious food, the pupusas, tamales, mondongo and breakfast was amazing. My husband, my daughter and my grandchildren love their food. That service was also great.
Monona needs more places like this!!! Wonderful staff and even better food. Will be coming back many times. The breakfast tacos are amazing!
Had coffee and chocolate croissant and apple turnover this morning. Pastries were yummy! Would love to see XuXos, iced coffees AND WIFI added to the menu and amenities! Lovely server, decent prices. Wish you all the best.
