Lombardino's is the epitome of what I look for in a restaurant: it is genuine, offers beautifully crafted dishes made with fresh ingredients, boasts an intimate atmosphere with a good patron-to-wait staff ratio, and is unforgettable. The waitstaff were attentive without being intrusive. The salads are exceptional, going beyond just greens. I highly recommend the roasted beet salad or the Lombardino Ensalada. As a vegetarian with gluten sensitivities, I opted for an eggplant dish on top of polenta, a meal that left a lasting impression. The dish was a work of art: the crispy eggplant was filled with caramelized onions, and the creamy polenta was topped with fresh pesto. My friend chose spaghetti and was blown away by the perfectly prepared dish. Our guests also raved about their meals. The desserts were equally delicious. After dining at Lombardino's three times, we have consistently experienced excellent food and service. I can't wait for the next opportunity to visit Lombardino's in Madison.
