Currently renovating, dining in the patio area is really nice. Friendly staff if a bit slow. Free corn bread was really nice, the cheese curds are some of the best in the area with the curds seasoned well and the cajun ranch delicious. I got the jambalaya and although there's too much tomato and not enough rice to be traditional (lived in louisiana for 12 years), the flavor was there and the blackened shrimp and the... What Helen Y doesn't like about Liliana's :
Horribly understaffed and rather overpriced. People were waiting an hour past their pickup time for food on Mardi Gras and all the staff were obviously super stressed and doing their best. View all feedback.
Was in town for a trip and Liliana's was recommended as a place to eat. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had great wine recommendations from our server. The cheese cures and Bruchetta were fabulous. I had the Pannenmeer scallops and they melt in your mouth. Tryed a bite of Jumbalya and that was full of taste. Definitely a place I would recommend to others!
From the time we arrived until we went, every person here above the top was cheerful and professional. It was also a pleasure to hear John Vitale in the lounge. The menu is varied. Each dish was perfect and served in a perfect time frame. One of the best restaurants in Madison
There food is amazing! About 4 months ago I got the shrimp and grits and it was the best! and the portion was worth $23. Today I got it and the portion was half the size as before. Usually the presentation is spot on but today it looks like a kids meal. A little disappointed. The foods still tasty though and the staff is really nice.
The food was good. Service was okay (our appetizer arrived after our meal did and I had to request additional water); friendly and polite. I thought it was a bit pricey for the amount of food. I ordered etouffe and I think there were 3 shrimp in it and about 8 crawfish tails. My company had shrimp and grits and enjoyed it immensely. The bowls were small, however. Grits cost nothing to make so at least add more grits!
Thank you for a nice evening! We drove a distance and were not disappointed by the service at all! We were quickly welcomed and put on a table of our choice. Our waiter was super attentive and made very suitable suggestions for drinks to go with our choice of dinner. The food was some of the best we had ever cooked and seasoned perfectly. To finish it, we went to some extremely talented musicians who played the evening. Part of thought: Nice that I made a reservation, the place was packed shortly after our arrival. Know that seating is tight and you will hear the couple next to you who argues about how they feel without permission with power tools. You know that the menu is available on the line, but the waiting staff is very well informed about the menu. Well worth the hour and drive.
