To eat one of my favorite restaurants in Madison. I love making my own uproar as I want. All sauces are delicious and the selection of meat and vegetables is wonderful. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Huhot Mongolian Grill:
As another reviewer said, they don't cook their food for long enough on the grill. The meat is incredibly low quality and shouldn't be frozen and left on the line. Other grills I've been to have you mark your food with a colored stick or toothpick, a number, etc to indicate what meat you want, I think that would be better. Don't let customers see how truly terrible it is. Service was good, people were nice. Food was... View all feedback.
I've been here about 3 times, all in the span of 2 months, and didn't have any of the bad service experiences others faced. Maybe it was because I went for lunch on weekdays when it was not really busy at all. The location is quite far from downtown Madison, which is the only downside. The food is quite good though. I usually just go for a bunch of veggies with meat and sauce, and skip the rice and noodles altogether! They have quite a number of options which I really like. My favorite sauce is definitely the Nomad’s Green Curry. Just the perfect amount of spiciness, and it goes well with chicken, sausages, jalapenos, onions and broccoli!
It's good. Choose what you want in your bowl and cook it for you. Add your own heat ranges of spices and sauces. If it tastes bad, throw it out and try it again. All you can eat, not togo boxes.
An Asian restraunt where you pick what you want to eat. You get to choose from, noodles, rice, vegetables, meat, and sauce. You then give it to the cook who cooks it on a large grill. It is all you can eat so you change it up every time you get a new bowl. You get a side salad or soup as well. There are recipe cards you can follow to guide you if you don't know what to eat. If you are a vegetarian they will keep your meal away from other meat meals being cooked. Parking lot is small so park across the street at The TDS building is a safe bet. It is busy for dinner so line can move slow when you are making your bowl.
Great food and great atmosphere Wish they had real chicken n beef instead of the frozen thin sliced
