First encounter and it did not disappoint: good food and friendly, well-informed staff who gladly shared their recommendations and aligned our culinary expectations. Exceptionally clean (including restrooms . Vinegary “confetti”-style coleslaw was fresh and tasty plus the chowchow was delicious (albeit it was just a teaspoon . Toasted buns were a nice touch. What Garret Hebert doesn't like about Full Moon -b-que:
The girl that took our order was on her personal phone the whole time we were ordering. She would even talk on the phone in between our sentences. Defiantly very rude. Employees should never be on their phone chitchatting while working. She had one AirPod in with her hair covering it.The food came out quickly. The brisket was good. The pork was OK. But I found a Rib Bone in it. Not sure why the slaw is “famous”. It w... View all feedback.
Just got home with my 3 pork sandwiches and fries that was $33.96, opened it, and this is what I saw. Six burnt buns that were so hard you couldn’t bite into it, and what gets me is the person who made the sandwiches knew this. This is also not the first time we’ve had a bad experience at this location. Maybe it’s just hard to find decent help nowadays, who knows.
The problem I have had with this place is the order in which the food comes out. For 4 people, the food comes out at different times even when ordered together. We ordered a pulled pork sandwiche, 2 orders of loaded nachos and a loaded baked potato. It took between 15 and 20 minutes to get everything. The baked potato was last and the sandwich was finished before it got out. Most likely, I will not go back. I have given them about 5 chances.
Let me start with the bad….I ordered the catfish….let me say I should have known better then to order catfish from a bbq restaurant…this was not catfish…it looked beautiful but tasted horrible only ate half a piece the other one and a half pieces went to the trash. The ribs were tender just not seasoned very well. The Mac and cheese was nice and cheesy and the greens were fresh but kind of sweet tasting. The okra was good. Please don’t get the fish if you are looking for some good southern catfish.
The food was average. I got the ribs. My wife got the fish. The ribs were tender, but the taste was just average. The fish was not catfish. I'm not sure what it was, but definitely was not catfish.
